About Me

Hello! I am a licensed teacher, and have worked as a substitute teacher for 15 years, and a tutor for about 12. I have a great deal of experience teaching reading and math in grades K-7.I am very dedicated to helping my students achieve academic success, and cannot help celebrating right along side each of them as they reach their goals! Equally important to me, however, is the experience each child has while working with me to reach these goals. I make every effort to ensure our sessions are enjoyable, and that each student feels safe to explore his or her learning in a judgement free zone. Respect and compassion are key in helping my students to reach academic success, and more importantly, to gain the confidence and independence needed to do so in the future!
