Clark
- I graduated from a New England liberal arts college with a major in History and Asian cultural studies.
About Me
I also earned an MBA from UCLA business school and was a student with the Fulbright Foundation in London where I studied theater and the classics. Teaching is one of the most rewarding and challenging professions. Watching and helping students grow and grasp new concepts and ideas, and through that enriching their lives, gives a tangible sense of accomplishment and happiness; witnessing the results of the hard work that students commit and seeing that moment when the "light bulb" goes on and the excitement and sense of accomplishment that they feel and express; there is just nothing like it. Teaching and tutoring is challenging because no two people are alike and everyone brings unique and specific situations to the teacher/student relationship. Learning is not a "one size fits all" process and curriculums vary as do the individual needs of each student. I teach a number of subjects from grammar school through high school and some college level courses. My areas of focus are American and European History, world Religions and cultures, English grammar and literature along with Micro and Macro economics and business. I leave the math and sciences to those experts. In my free time I enjoy fitness, films and reading.
Hobbies & Interests
I have played guitar for many years and travel extensively.
