About Me

I'm a recent graduate from York College of Pennsylvania. I have a Master's in Public Policy and Administration with a certificate in Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence Analysis with a minor in Geography. I also attended Central Texas College and earned an Associate of Arts in Social Science. While at York College, I worked as a GIS peer tutor, volunteered at an orphanage in India for two weeks - which included various teaching opportunities to elementary and middle school students, and spent one semester as a learning coach for two elementary-aged students in an online school. I have always been interested in the social sciences. History, Geography, and Political Science have been my favorite subjects since at least middle school. I am currently approved to tutor for College Geography, Geography, Human Geography, and Social Studies. I hope to add more subjects in the future! My goal is to help students succeed and gain confidence in the knowledge they have. Most of my Master's was completed online due to Covid, so I understand the stress and difficulties that come with online learning right now. Education is very important to me, and I like to help people learn and flourish. I believe each person learns and tutors differently. Finding a happy medium between learning and teaching styles has always resulted in a successful outcome for the person I'm working with and me.
