About Me

I am a graduate of Rutgers University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences with a focus on dietetics. Since graduation, I have completed a dietetic internship and nutrition fellowship with the top medical centers in New York, and gained my credential as a registered dietitian. I have experience tutoring my peers in college, via a national nutrition honors society. Additionally, I have taught both college-level students and working professionals on nutrition and wellness through various channels, including education booths, science based handouts, animated videos, weekly tips and more. While I enjoy learning and teaching a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about science and nutrition. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for tests, I am always sure to tailor my approach to the individual and make the atmosphere fun and engaging. I fully believe in the power of education, and strive to make the learning process a rewarding experience for my students and myself. In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time in nature, exercising, testing out new recipes, playing music, reading, and continuing my education through a range of educational forums.
