About Me

I'm a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at the Cooper Union with a passion for math. Happy to help with Algebra, Calculus, SAT Math, and perhaps a smidge of Trig, Vector Calculus, and Linear Algebra on the side. :)I've worked in a tutor-like capacity for over two years, helping students in my high school's Learning Commons learn subjects such as Algebra, Trigonometry, and Differential and Integral Calculus. I've also worked with students studying for the SAT and SHSAT.I'd say that I'm a tutor that tries to diagnose and treat issues as quickly as possible by having the student talk through their thought processes while they work. I don't think it's particularly helpful to handhold students through the problems without letting them first take a crack at them by themselves. Looking forward to working with any potential tutees!
