Caring and helping others was the reason I became a nurse. There is nothing more satisfying than having a family member or the patient himself saying thank you you made a difference. On the day they leave and they are smiling and so confident that they can move on after their hospitalization is the day I know I have done a good job in taking care of my patientAlso as an Acute Nurse Practitioner in a hospital setting I cared for Critical care patients and patients on a MedSurg floor. I have cared for these types of patients for over 10 years and still very confident in my teaching skill to students
