About Me

Brittany graduated from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with Bachelor's degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She has been teaching Special Education, to students of all ages, for 7 years. She is currently teaching third grade at a charter school designed for students with dyslexia and other language based difficulties. She started by teaching Mathematics and Science at this school, where she was trained in multi-sensory math interventions. She quickly saw the positive impact that the Orton-Gillingham based methods had on her students' reading abilities and then pursued training in the Wilson Reading System. Brittany is now a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner.
