About Me

Dear Families,I graduated from Rasmussen College with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been working with children for the past 10 plus years, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for the past 6 years, virtually teaching/tutoring for the past year. I have worked with students in all areas of the spectrum, low risk, high risk, behavioral issues, learning disabilities, I have seen it all and had great success with my students. When it comes to my teaching approach I look at all my students and look at their own individual learning abilities and manipulate the active to fit their needs. No child learns the same way so not all activities should be taught the same way. I believe hands-on approaches are the best way to learn, this way my students see the lesson in an everyday environment and can relate to it. In my class, your student's individual needs WILL be taken into account. When I am not teaching or tutoring I enjoy playing with my 1.5-year-old son Grayson and 3 dogs Bella, Lily, and Art. I also like to go golfing with my Husband, Justing on the weekends. I enjoy going for walks and doing crafts and organizing spaces in my house. I've learned organized spaces are the most successful spaces.
