Education is one of the most important things in the world to me because I believe all children should feel empowered to seek knowledge and ask questions. That's why I've dedicated my life to helping students learn how to communicate and critically interact with the world while exercising their creativity. I tutor in all areas of English. I have experience tutoring K-12 students, teaching college-level courses, and working with ESL students of all ages. My teaching style is simple: I meet learners where they are and treat the classroom as a collaborative space. I value the voices of students, and I love learning from them just as much as I love teaching them. I have a BA in Creative Writing and Literature from Santa Fe University of Art and Design, and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I am an incoming Ph.D. student in English and Literary Arts at the University of Denver.
