About Me

I have been teaching for two decades. I have a Masters in Elementary Education, my Reading Specialist Certification, my Orton Gillingham Dyslexia Specialist Certification, a TESOL Certificate, my Supervisor Certificate and my Wilson Level 1 Certification. I enjoy tutoring students in reading and writing because it is foundational to everything they do. By helping a student improve in reading and writing, I have impacted all other academic areas. I personally have two sons who have learning differences. They are both dyslexic and dysgraphic. I know from first hand experience the struggles students with specific learning disabilities have. I understand the parents of students that are struggling as well.
