About Me

I am a senior at Boston University. I will be receiving a B.S. in English Education with a minor in Arts Leadership. I also am a member of the Kilachand Honors College. I am expected to receive my teaching licensure for the state of Massachusetts within the next few months. In addition to being a Special Education Teaching Assistant and Writing Tutor, I am also the Artistic Director for the Off-Beat Players - a nonprofit theater company for young adults with disabilities. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and Writing/Reading. I am incredibly passionate about working with students to achieve their learning goals, and it is always heartwarming to see their hard work contribute towards their own success. I am a firm advocate for letting students guide their own learning - their own experiences, interests, and skills should drive their educational experience. In my spare time, I enjoy performing improv comedy, playing basketball, and playing "Catan".
