Hello! I have a passion for helping students understand various biological concepts, including microbiology, virology, genetics, endocrinology, and cellular and molecular biology. I believe everyone has the capacity to do great things, and I hope to be able to give students the confidence and resources to be their best.

I am currently in the process of applying for medical school, with a particular interest in emergency medicine. When completing my degree at Texas A&M University, I had the blessing of receiving the Beckman Scholarship for undergraduate research. My research project involved the understanding of important pathways and proteins implicated in the regeneration of hair cells in the zebrafish inner ear, with the hopes of developing therapeutics to help hair cell regeneration in the human ear to combat deafness. Further, I was a supplemental instructor for a college course in Genes, Ecology and Evolution to help honors undergraduate biology students understand and conquer the material. In my free time I enjoy hiking, scuba diving, playing with my dog Hudson and binging TV shows.
