About Me

I graduated from The University of Central Missouri receiving my BSN after first receiving my ADN from Penn Valley Community College. I have been a nurse for five years now and in the healthcare field for 8 years, while experiencing a wide variety of patient care. I have worked at a few reputable hospitals in the Kansas City metro area, including The University of Kansas Health System and Saint Luke's Health Systems in areas such as Telemetry, Medical Intensive Care, Cardiothoracic Pre and Post Op Recovery. Recently, I made the decision to work towards receiving an MSN in Nursing Education because I want to continue to make a positive impact on new and upcoming nurses in the healthcare field. I am passionate about helping students because I remember what it was like in nursing school, and want to help by sharing tactics to pass tests that worked for myself and my friends. Outside of nursing, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and virtual visits with my friends.
