About Me

Seeking to become a tutor in an online environment, collaborative, detail-oriented and a team player. Adaptive and inquisitive to learn new skills, I have managed to work my way through the challenging and demanding nature of my job which requires analytical skills, technical knowledge and ability to deliver work on short notices. I am a graduate from the University of Connecticut where I received my Bachelor of arts degree in Secondary Spanish Education and my Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction. I currently teach 6th grade however I also tutor Spanish levels 1-5. I love learning and teaching about the Spanish language and culture. I am passionate about helping students because I am fascinated by their growth and development. It is rewarding to see that I have made an impact on someone when I see the light go on when they understand material. My teaching philosophy and tutoring style is all about helping the needs of the student. Basically catering to students strengths and struggles. Being able to give them a voice in their learning but also having an observant eye on their progress. I strongly believe that all students deserve an equal opportunity to learn and grow.
