I am currently working towards my Bachelor of Sciences in Environmental Science with a focus on quantitative energy systems and my Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy. In college, I volunteer with HYPE, Helping Youth by Providing Enrichment, which connects college students with their community through mentoring and tutoring. Through this experience, I was able to help the students grow by focusing on their individual needs and catering to their interests. I truly want to help students learn because I know the difference that individualized instruction can have on growth. Further, a simple change in phrasing or a different method for approaching a problem can greatly improve a student's understanding of the concepts they are learning. While I tutor a wide variety of subjects, I am particularly passionate about English, Science, and Government. These subjects have garnered my full interest because of their wide range of thought and conceptualization and I continue to broaden my education about them through college courses. I truly believe that every student can excel when given the attention and individualized help they need, and I hope that through tutoring I can provide this help. In my free time, I enjoy reading fiction novels and classics, playing board games with my sisters, and going on hikes.

I have a passion for reading, which has made me a complete book nerd, especially when it comes to Harry Potter or the Lunar Chronicles. My favorite board game is Clue and I enjoy playing it with my sisters. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and just hammocking in the outdoors.
