About Me

I have my elementary education teaching certificate, middle grades language arts certificate, and ESL education certificate in the state of Arizona. I was a 4th grade teacher for 1 year and an 8th grade English teacher for 3 years. I use modeling, real-world and self connections, and differentiated tutoring for each student I work with. My tutoring sessions are student-centered, complete with self-reflection and self-motivation, which allows them to take ownership over their own learning.
