About Me

I received my Master's if Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology with a Bachelor's of Education in Communication Disorders. I also received honors for studies in History and Music. My background includes English, Communication and Literacy, vocal performance studies, vocal disorders and neurological communication disorders. Since graduation, I have worked with children and adults in helping them develop literacy skills, language skills, learning to communicate more effectively due to communication breakdowns whether from disorders, social skills or due to accent difficulties. I also worked as a vocal coach and voice therapist. I am an advocate for education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, sewing, and occasionally gaming.
