About Me

I have been happily teaching high school English for 18 years. Throughout those years, I have had experience teaching English 1-4, Public Speaking, Broadcasting, Creative Writing, Journalism and test prep. While I have a real passion for all things literature, I tend to enjoy the art of writing the most. The ability to finely craft a piece of writing will allow for great success in all areas of life. I love to share this craft with my students and get excited when they also see the power that a strong message can hold. Outside of teaching, I love to travel, run, hike and spend time with my friends and family.
