About Me

I have been an ESL Teacher for past 9 years in universities in Saudi Arabia and for 2 years in community colleges in the United States. Teaching overseas has given me a great appreciation for all cultures! I've worked with nearly 2500 students and adult learners (primarily 18-35 year olds) teaching everything from English, ESL, Test Prep in IELTS, TOEFL, and many other Engineering, Science and Vocational prep subjects. I am only available to teach online at this point as I still live in Saudi Arabia until we move back to the USA in 6-12 months. I am also a development professional with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, marketing and sales. I have managed annual giving, major giving, capital and endowment campaigns, special events, grantwriting, corporate, government and foundation relations. I have worked in K-12, nonprofits, higher education and new business development. I also spent 5 years in admissions/recruitment in K-12 educational organizations in the United States. I am married with two children and 3 Labrador retrievers ! I love to play the piano, sing, travel, play with my dogs, and watch movies and tutor .Specialties: ESL teaching, e-learning, Test Prep, Cambridge Speaking and TOEFL test examiner, grant-writing, corporate sponsorships, branding and marketing, strategic planning, prospect research, campaign management and consulting.
