For the past two decades I have dedicated my time, my efforts, and my research to improving the learning experiences for elementary aged children. I believe education can be empowering and can elevate individuals as high as they want to go. I spent 15 years as an elementary school teacher, 6 years as an adult education teacher, and for the past year and a half I have taught pre-service teachers at the collegiate level. I am an experienced educator who uses this experience coupled with research to provide students with the best options needed to help improve their status as a student. I am currently working on my doctorate in curriculum and instruction, continuing to find the best ways to better the learning experience for students.
