About Me

After amazing adventures as a clarinetist in our Air Force, I am excited to return to the Greater Atlanta Area! If you are looking for a private teacher dedicated to helping your student realize his or her potential, please consider me. Music is an international language, and musicians are natural ambassadors. As far as languages are concerned, I have always been intrigued by the abundance of cultures in our world. A wealth of literature is just waiting to be discovered by the next generation to divine wisdom from those who have gone before and to be challenged into new adventures by expanded imagination. For a second language, I chose to learn French. Initially inspired by my mother, who taught me the basics, I continued my academic pursuit throughout high school. Later, I found ways to practice and increase my skills with new friends in the college years and beyond. During my tenure abroad, I was able to translate my superior officer's comments to French sponsors and speak on behalf of our musical ensembles. For adult students looking to create an edge in life, I would appreciate the opportunity to assist you. It was my privilege to serve our nation in uniform, and it is now my responsibility to help others who seek to protect our country and those who desire to pursue the American Dream.
