Passionate journalist and editor committed to the truth; adept in research, writing and production. Seeking position in publishing, radio, writing or advocacy. I received a Bachelor of Arts in journalism at The Ohio State University in May 2017. Also studied Spanish and cultural anthropology. I have written for: the Ohio State Lantern, the Ohio State School of Communications, the Ohio State Office of Energy and Environment (OEE) and the Springville and Ellicottville Times. I have also ran social media campaigns for the OEE and Global Gifts in downtown Columbus, Ohio. While at Ohio State I also tutored with Student Athlete Support Services which provides tutoring services to the Division I and II athletes at Ohio State. SASSO had very strict tutoring policies, through which I developed a professional but personal tutoring style. I focus on patience -both in myself and the student-, re-teaching -meaning the student re-teaches the material to me so I know it's understood- and fun. What is learning without fun? While I'm still pursuing a writing career, tutoring is a wonderful addition to my life. I'm excited to teach the next generation of bright new minds!
