About Me

Hello, my name is Philip, and I am a passionate and experienced educator dedicated to helping students thrive. With over a decade of teaching and tutoring experience, I have developed a deep understanding of how to support learners of all ages and abilities. My journey began as a Supplemental Instructor for Spanish at the University of Tennessee at Martin, and I went on to teach Spanish at Michigan State University while earning my master's degree in Hispanic Literature. For the past ten years, I have worked as both a bilingual and general elementary school teacher, honing my skills in creating engaging, student-centered lessons. I believe every child is capable of achieving their goals with the right guidance and support. My approach starts by understanding each student's unique strengths, challenges, and learning style. From there, I design personalized, interactive lessons that not only build skills but also instill confidence and a love for learning.
