About Me

I am a 2006 graduate of Green High School, where I was a three-sport athlete: cross country, basketball and track. I continued her education at the University of Toledo, where I obtained a teaching degree for grades 7-12 with a focus on integrated sciences. Upon graduation in 2011, I taught chemistry for three years at Canton McKinley, where I coached the boys distance track and was the National Honor Society adviser. I also completed my master's degree with an emphasis on chemistry education while teaching at McKinley. I left McKinley in 2014 and started teaching at Archbishop Hoban High School, where I taught chemistry, biology and am currently taking on the role of AP Chemistry teacher. I have worked with many students while serving as the student council moderator. When I am teaching I can be found on adventures with my husband and three dogs, Mickey, Minnie and Brutus. I love all sports, especially Cleveland sports teams; Indians, Cavs, and even the Browns. If you couldn't tell from the dog names, I love everything Disney, and of course, the Ohio State Buckeyes. I am very fun-loving, silly, sarcastic, and loves jokes. I love all new thrill-seeking adventures and most importantly I love my job as an educator where I can watch students grow.
