I am a Dallas native who recently graduated with academic distinction from The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. While tutoring I realized that all students learn differently and it is the job of the tutor to find out which approach works best for the student and then utilize these strategies during the learning process. While tutoring I look to engage my students in the learning process by presenting subjects as relevant and interesting which goes a long way in decreasing the perceived difficulty of a course. In my free time I love spending time outdoors as well as playing basketball with friends.
