About Me

I graduated from the University of Rhode Island. I have my bachelors degree in English and Theater. I am working towards my masters in Couple, family and marriage counseling. I have been working with students since I was 16 and I have continued that ever since I graduated college. I have worked with toddlers to grade 12th. I'm starting work as a substitute teacher again when the school year begins. I enjoy tutoring subjects like English, literature, and arts. I tutor reading, writing, acting, ESL, ELL, and etc. My favorite subjects will be English and Theater because I really enjoy those and I feel excited and more confident when it comes to those subjects. I am mostly visual. So, when I'm working with students I make sure they get a great understanding of what we are working on by creating examples, either with drawing, writing things down, using the board, markers and etc. I also want to make sure my student is interested and enjoying what he or she is working with. I'm interested in a lot of things; when it comes to sports, arts, music, and nature. I am very artistic and in my honest opinion, we can't do life without these things. I love to have fun. I'm a very cheesy person and I am always smiling but I also know when it's time to joke and be serious. Kids love me, for this reason, I'm always stuck at certain schools for a long term instead of the given time when subbing. Contact me for great results. Kids enjoy studying more when it's fun.
