About Me

I found my love of tutoring and teaching during my undergraduate work at Jacksonville University studying Marine Science. I always hosted study sessions and worked with my classmates to prepare ourselves for our exams and found that I got such joy from helping them understand the material! I graduated Suma Cum Laude from Jacksonville University with a Bachelors of Science in Marine Science. I then began teaching at a private school for the next 3 years. Following that, I began working for a local virtual school and tutoring at Florida State College of Jacksonville. I loved working individually with students, helping them learn how to better understand the material themselves. I have taught and tutored middle school, high school, and college aged students. Most of my experience is in the life sciences (Biology, Environmental Science, ect), but I have experience with tutoring Chemistry and math through Algebra 2. I love sharing my passion for the sciences with students! I enjoy reading and walking in nature as my hobbies. I look forward to working with any student online or in the Jacksonville area!
