About Me

I have over seven years of experience tutoring and teaching students and young people both in the classroom and one-on-one. I love helping learners reach their goals and discover new things. In every tutoring session, I strive to promote an engaging and supportive environment. I also create an individualised plan for each student to best develop their skills. After high school, I attended the University of Edinburgh and completed a degree in English Literature. After that I spent two years teaching English in an inner-city London school, before returning to my childhood hometown in Austin to be closer to my family. Of course, I love reading. My favourite authors are Kurt Vonnegut and Haruki Murakami. Check them out if you haven't yet! I also enjoy hiking, quality TV and playing with my dog.
