About Me

I have been a high school science teacher for 3 years. I have taught Biology, Chemistry, and Marine Science and loved every minute of it. The best part of my job is taking a complex topic, breaking it down, and hearing that "ah hah!" moment. I love science I am constantly reading and learning about areas of science that I am not so familiar with. I graduated UF with a degree in biology and a minor in secondary science education. I finished my pre-med classes and got detoured to education when I realized where my passions truly lay. I like to joke around and make science fun and enjoyable but I am truly talented at relating science to the topics students enjoy. I am able to empathize with those who struggle because I had to learn the hard way how to succeed in school. My struggles also allow me to show my students school success techniques that truly work without forcing you to spend every waking moment studying. I am available to tutor most sciences from Elementary to High school as well as most math classes. As resources allow I can even put on some pretty cool labs.
