About Me

I received my education from Michigan State University and The University of Central Missouri, where I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Minor in Spanish. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).I have 9 years of teaching experience as a Preschool, Elementary & College level instructor. I've taught general education courses, ESL, Spanish Native Language Literacy and a University Writing course. I love teaching! My favorite subjects to tutor are ESL, Reading, Writing, Grammar and Spanish. My tutoring style involves getting to know each other and sharing our interests, discovering my student's goals and preferred learning styles, and having fun while we learn! My interests outside of academia include reading, running, hiking with my two young daughters, travelling, eating sushi and attending concerts with my husband.
