About Me

My guiding passion is to provide children from myriad backgrounds with an educational experience that will embolden a love for learning, exploration, and self-awareness. Currently, as a second grade teacher at a private school in Manhattan, I encourage my students to feel confident in their abilities to look closely, think critically, ask questions, and have conversations, with the goal of becoming successful learners across all areas. I began tutoring elementary-age students in college and have continued to 5 years later. I love working one-on-one with a student to provide them with the specialized attention needed in order to effectively address areas of difficulty and build confidence.
