About Me

I am a graduate of Wellesley College with 2 years of tutoring and teaching experience. As a linguistics major, I have always been fascinated by languages and I am passionate about helping others improve their skills in foreign languages. In addition to English, I am proficient in Mandarin Chinese. I spent one semester attending an intensive Mandarin course in Harbin, China where I was required to take a language pledge to only use Chinese for the duration of the semester. I truly believe anyone has the ability to become fluent in a new language, especially with the guidance of an encouraging, patient tutor. In my tutoring sessions, I've applied my experiences as a language learner to help students succeed in overcoming the difficulties that arise when learning a new language.
