About Me

I am a certified teacher in New York State for grades 1-6. I have completed several internships working with students with differences and students in general education since high school. I have worked with the students long term and saw major success. I have been assisting several local schools this semester for my graduate class fieldwork. In addition to this fieldwork, I have been tutoring students for the past two years and have been homeschooling a fourth grade student for the past year. I am very familiar with the Common Core Standards. I am also working at a learning center tutoring students from pre-k to middle school in English and Math. I have a learning difference and was classified in first grade. Due to my difference, I have had to apply many different strategies and techniques to figure out which works best for me. I can relate to students who are struggling academically and have formed close bonds with many of the students I have worked with. I feel all students can learn and will learn if provided the right tools and strategies to succeed in their educational career. I would love to be a part of helping your child reach their academic potential.
