- I received my Bachelors of Arts in Comprehensive Physics.
About Me
Throughout my physics degree I have obtained an extensive knowledge of high level math and statistics. I joined several study groups and learned the importance of teaching my fellow students in order to gain a more concrete understanding of the material myself. After graduation, I had the opportunity to work for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration collecting data at sea and wrangling data from the internet. I also volunteered to assist a math class at an alternative high school once a week. This taught me the importance of teaching the subject and not merely showing how to solve problems. I have a deep love for science and mathematics and I revel in the opportunity to teach others about the subjects I love. I see the world in numbers and this allows me to show students just how important math and science are in everyday life. In my spare time, I enjoy volleyball, yoga, and ultimate Frisbee as well as riding my Freebord, which is a special type of longboard, as often as the weather allows.
