About Me

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelors of Science in Food and NutritionScience from Florida State University. I was a certified tutor at the Academic Centerfor Excellence for a multitude of college level subjects including: chemistry, organicchemistry, biochemistry, biology, genetics, anatomy and physiology, nutrition,Spanish, statistics, and proof-reading essays. I have tutored one-on-one and ingroups. I especially love to tutor the chemistry classes aforementioned because ofthe useful study skills I developed from them. In high school, I won a few awards asa member of the speech/debate team. I have many tips and tricks to help studentswith difficulty in public speaking. Education is absolutely crucial for becomingsuccessful and feeling accomplished both physically and mentally. There should beno barriers to impede one's educational pursuit. My tutoring style is adaptable andrelies on how the student learns. I ask a few questions to engage the student'scritical thinking skills so that they can solve the problems independently. I haveperformed well on the new MCAT and have been accepted to Florida StateUniversity College of Medicine and University of Cincinnati Medical School. I willbegin medical school Fall of 2016. This is my first time with standardized test-prep,so I will help students with successful studying strategies, how to find freeresources, and plenty of exam practice with high yield topics.
