About Me

I have been a student tutor since freshman year of my high school, I am currently a sophomore at University of Kansas. I tutored my classmates in the classes I am enrolled in and in the classes that I have already taken. I tutored students in calculus I and II, college algebra, and chemistry. I am currently a student tutor for my school TRIO Supportive Educational Services, and I am going to apply to be either a chemistry or a math teaching assistant. Also I am a student tutor for tutoring websites, and I tutored students from more than 20 classes through them. I feel great when I can help students understand the problems and help them achieve their goals. I am very thankful that God gave me the ability to think subjects like Calculus and Chemistry to be interesting, so I want help others to see that they can learn a hard course in a fun way. I am very patient when comes to problem explaining, and I would always come up different ways to explain the problem to different students. I love my job. I have received an A+ in algebra 1 and 2, geometry, precalculus, and both calculus courses. I try to prepare myself every time before I tutor a student, I would do many problems that are related to the subject and I like to come up new ways to teach students to help them engage in the lessons.
