About Me

As a certified teacher in a regular classroom, I implement a lot of what I use in classroom for my students when I tutor. I spend my first session usually to learn about my students and their needs in order to plan tutor sessions to meet the needs of the students and those of parents. My goal in teaching and tutorial is for students to be able to achieve mastery skills necessary for success. Students are expected to learn to evaluate their performance as well as take pride and ownership in their learning. As a general rule, students are expected to come to tutorials with questions and, when applicable, notes and any assignment that we need to go over.
