About Me

I am an excited future math teacher hoping to gain valuable experience and practice while helping students achieve their goals. I am currently a student in the University of Minnesota's M. Ed program, hoping to get my secondary math licensure. I have spent the last three years working in and around the public schools, tutoring all levels of math from algebra to Calculus II. Most recently, I worked with algebra and geometry students at Southwest High School in Minneapolis. I believe that I can use my previous experiences to effectively establish a positive tutor-student relationship with a wide variety of students, and that my knowledge and experience as a tutor will allow me to improve both comprehension and academic performance in a way that students find enjoyable.
