About Me

I have 18 years of professional teaching experience. I am a certified 4th-8th grade generalist, and I have taught all the subjects listed on my certification (math, science, language arts, and social studies).I have been involved with youth mentoring programs. On numerous occasions I have been invited as a panelist by my former high school to lecture and speak to current students. Also, I have been something of a role model to my five nephews. I am very trustworthy and dependable, especially when impressionable children and students are involved. I believe that I bring experience, intelligence, understanding, compassion, patience, and, most importantly, a great desire to educate others. With such valuable experience working with, tutoring, as well as mentoring students, I am extremely comfortable and even at my best when I am teaching, guiding, and doing my part to provide leadership to our future generations.
