About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Virginia where I double majored in Economics and English Literature. I spent the year post graduation traveling the world (Brazil, South Africa, Thailand, Australia, Fiji, Hawaii). That year enriched my life in ways that formal education couldn't, and it has helped me to view learning and teaching with a global perspective. I then started working on Wall Street and have been doing that for the past 10 years. I understand the pressures and stresses of academia, which is why I like to bring a sense of humor to each session. I am currently tutoring English Literature, Essay and Creative Writing, SAT Verbal and Math prep. In my free time I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, and trail running with my dog.
