About Me

I am a graduate of Michigan State University. I received my bachelors of science in Mathematics. I had been a teacher's assistant for a middle school math class for two semesters in college. Since graduation (August '13), I have been a Professional Tutor at West Shore Community College, and I was promoted to run the Math Center as Lead Tutor until I moved from Michigan to Chicago quite recently. I specialize in tutoring across the board in Mathematics; elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, statistics, and pre-calculus. I want to be a tutor to make a positive impact on the children's education. The next generation needs the proper stimulation in not only what to think, but how to think. The logical foundation and critical analysis that comes with studying and learning mathematics can be tangentially applied to any aspect in life. I'm passionate about making a difference with those who need it the most through tutoring. In my spare time, I enjoy all aspects of soccer; playing, coaching, refereeing, and spectating. I am also passionate about fitness and health, as well as any pick up sports to play for fun.
