About Me

I am a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University. I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. During my undergraduate education, I worked in several research labs, studying parent/infant relations and couples' interactions. After graduation, I began working at a child and adolescent psychiatric hospital as a mental health technician. In August 2013, I was admitted to a clinical psychology program and began working towards earning a doctorate degree. In my first year of the program, I interned at a middle school and was able to work with many students, including those in special education classes. I have substantial experience working with children and adolescents of all ages. I also have experience in working with individuals with learning and developmental disabilities. When tutoring, I employ a patient and individuated style so that I can tailor my approach to the unique needs of each student. I enjoy working with students on a variety of subjects, including test preparation, study skills, psychology, and social sciences. In my free time, I enjoy being outside, watching sports, spending time with family, and cooking and baking.
