About Me

I graduated from Manchester University in 2012 with a degree in Spanish and Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I have taught various levels of language learners all over the world: elementary students in Spain, young adults in Taiwan, and adult ESL classes in the United States. I am also still a language student as I am teaching myself medically-based Spanish vocabulary. I understand learning a new language is difficult and requires a different style of instruction, which is why I utilize a lot of interactive activities, conversationally-based classes, and a lot of positive reinforcement. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, science fiction movies and books, yoga, and spending time with my Philadelphia friends and family.
