About Me

I am very passionate about the sciences! I believe that my enthusiasm allows me to explain subject material in a way that is fun and easy to understand. My method of teaching and studying involves many visual aids, acronyms and analogies that make biology subjects less difficult to grasp. In addition to biology I also enjoy teaching algebra and other math subjects that function as a foundation to higher level mathematics courses. As a student, I developed studying strategies that helped me better understand biology and math concepts. I plan to use what has worked for me in the past to help students who are currently having trouble in those areas. In my spare time, I enjoy trail running, hiking, canoeing and other outdoor activities.
