About Me

I graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in English and Film & Television Studies. I have had experience tutoring in a range of subjects; my passions are writing nonfiction and reading, so I especially love tutoring essay writing and critical reading. I am an extremely positive and patient tutor, but that doesn't mean I'm easy. To the credit of my students, I've witnessed much improvement in their study skills and reading comprehension. I firmly believe hard work and education will make a person the best he or she can be. I work as hard as I can to get my students to a place where they understand the best ways for them to learn, and I aim to inspire a lifetime love of learning! When I'm not tutoring, reading, or writing, you'll most likely find me attempting a new DIY craft project, baking a pie, or attending a theatrical production.
