About Me

As a recent graduate of the Ella Cline Shear School of Education at SUNY Geneseo, I am a passionate teacher of students birth-grade 6. I have been able to practice this passion as a New York City per diem and permanent substitute teacher for the past three months. My other related experiences range from being a summer camp counselor for over 6 years, past phonemic and reading tutor, and a Resident Assistant for high school students at a summer boarding school. I am an extremely positive, energetic, friendly, and encouraging teacher to my students, and seek to share these attributes with other students through tutoring. I have a particular interest in teaching Phonics, Reading, Reading Comprehension, and Science. In an one-on-one setting, I will get to know my student, from their strengths and weaknesses to their interests and goals. I look forward to working with you!
