About Me

I am a parent and teacher and love helping students achieve their goals and reach success. I enjoy tutoring almost all of the social sciences with my favorite being United States History. I think understanding the history of our country is important and vital for us to influence and effect change in our society. If I had to describe my tutoring style it would be a patient tutor. I strive to create an active environment for each student as studies have shown that active learners retain a much greater percentage of the information than in a passive environment. I ask questions building on students knowledge to reinforce themes, knowledge, and success.
