About Me

I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and University of Houston Clear Lake. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Relations. I later went on to receive my teaching certification, and have taught 8th grade Math from 2005-2011. I then went on to receive my Master's of Science in Counseling from the University of Houston Clear Lake in August 2010, and have served as a school counselor since August 2012 at the high school level. I have a love and passion for tutoring and instruction, and I have tutored since 2008 and continue to help struggling students. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Reading, Literature, and Math. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, watching sports, I've recently started CrossFit, and spending quality time with family and friends.
