About Me
At the University of Albany I received a Bachelors in Physics. Within the next few years I aim to obtain a Masters in Physics; eventually I'd like to have a PhD in Physics and be a professor at universities. Through the Equal Opportunity Program at the University I was able to shape and challenge the minds of students who sought help in sciences and mathematics. It was important for me to use my time to help those who needed extra support in learning what they were presented in their lectures. Those subjects included Physics, Calculus I and II, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra and English. Physics is my favorite subject to teach because everyone has their own way of thinking, but you need to think differently and once you understand one piece, everything else flows together. My approach is simple, I break down complex problems to the basic fundamental principles. By adding on each progressing piece, the student is able to learn how to solve multiple problems at various levels. It takes a great deal of patience working one-on-one, or in a small group making sure everyone understands the material, however the reward of seeing a students expression when they're on the right track is more than I can express. To teach and help imprint something in someone's mind is a very rich experience. I know at Varsity Tutors I can stimulate minds and help people be the best they can be as a student. I enjoy learning foreign languages, it's a completely different way of thinking which can be very challenging. Outside of academia, I have various hobbies such as drawing, painting and reading.
