About Me

I am a certified elementary school teacher and have taught for 11 years in the Albuquerque, New Mexico public schools. I love my profession and I love to connect with families and their children in a positive and loving way with the intention and hope that my presence in a child's life is motivating, reassuring and inspiring. I am a tournament Chess player and have used the skills of Chess to teach mathematics and simple concepts in social studies ( geography, society, government systems). I can't wait to do my best to help my students learn!
